New York City

The Big Apple... The City That Never Sleeps!

New York is a vibrant, fast-paced metropolis that truly has something for everyone. From the dazzling lights of Times Square to the serenity of Central Park, this iconic city offers world class dining, shopping, culture and entertainment at every turn.

Take in the views from the Empire State Building, stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge, catch a Broadway show, or explore the diverse neighbourhoods that give NYC its unique character. Whether you are visiting the historic Statue of Liberty, shopping along Fifth Avenue, or enjoying the buzz of a rooftop bar, every corner of the city tells a story.

Perfect for couples, families, solo travellers, and city lovers alike - New York is definitely a bucket list destination that will inspire you and leave you wanting to go back again and again!

Top Tips

Plan Ahead for Attractions - Major sites like the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and Museums can get busy so book tickets in advance where possible to avoid long queues and disappointment from attractions selling out.

Use the Subway - It's the fastest and most affordable way to get around the city. You can get a MetroCard or use contactless payment, and don't be afraid to ask the locals for help!

Wear Comfortable Shoes - You will be walking a lot! From Museums to Parks to Bridges - so comfy footwear is a must!

Tipping is Expected - In restaurants, Taxi's, and bar's, tipping 15-20% is standard.

Catch a Broadway Show - Book smart and check out the TKTS Booth in Times Square, or ask your Travel Agent for any discounted last minute tickets.

Central Park is a Must! - Whether for a relaxing stroll, a picnic, or a rowboat ride, Central Park is a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle. At about 6 miles when walking around the perimeter, it would take around 2-2.5 hours to walk at a steady pace. You can even explore some of the smaller loops and paths by horse and carriage.

Avoid Times Square Restaurants - They are usually overpriced and touristy. You could try exploring neighbourhoods like Greenwich Village, Williamsburg, or the Lower East Side for more Authentic and better value food options.

Lapland

A Magical Winter Wonderland.

Step into a real-life fairytale in Lapland, the ultimate winter escape with snowy landscapes, sparkling forests and unforgettable adventures. Located in the far north of Finland, Lapland is best known as the home of Santa Claus, making it a dream destination for families and festive getaways.

From Husky sledding and Reindeer sleigh rides, to snowmobiling and Northern Lights hunting, this enchanting region offers something for every age. Visit Santa's Village, cross the Arctic Circle, or warm up in a traditional Finnish sauna after a day hitting the ski slopes.

Whether you are staying in a cosy log cabin, a glass-roofed igloo, a luxury lodge or hotel, Lapland combines adventure, relaxation, and wonder all in one magical package! It is a place where cherished memories are made - especially those who get to meet Father Christmas himself!

Top Tips

Layers are key - Wrap up properly! Temperatures can drop below -30 degrees in the winter, layers will keep you warm under a snowsuit. Thermal layers, fleece material mid-layer, and a high-quality waterproof outer layer. Don't forget thermal socks, gloves and mittens (mittens are warmer than gloves), and a snood or balaclava.

Book Excursions in Advance - Activities like Husky sledding, Reindeer safaris, and snowmobiling are very popular and can book up quickly especially during peak festive seasons, so if your trip doesn't include activities you need to get them booked before travelling.

Lapland Isn't Just for Christmas - While December is magical, January to March also offers stunning snow, fewer crowds, and better chances of seeing the Northern Lights under clearer skies.

Northern Lights Are Not Guaranteed - While Lapland is a prime spot to see them, sightings all depend on weather and solar activity. Keep an eye on aurora apps which will alert you to any activity to increase your chances of seeing them.

Choose The Right Resort For Your Group - This is where your travel agent can help, using their experience and expertise will help you choose the right Resort and accommodation for your needs. Each have a unique feel, some are more remote and authentic, while others are more built up with shops and restaurants.

Avoid Day Trips If You Can - Although this is a more affordable option, I would highly recommend going for at least 2-3 nights so you can fully appreciate the experiences. Day trips only include very short taster excursions and are very rushed due to tight schedules, If there are any unexpected delays with the flights or transport this will effect the whole days activities.

Stay Hydrated and Take Breaks - Florida heat can be intense and humid, especially in the summer months, so it helps to carry water bottles to refill at water stations, but also cool off in the shade and take time out in the air-conditioned areas.

Stay Onsite for Extra Perks - Disney and Universal hotels often have early park entry and free transportation between parks - Plus some Universal hotels include Express Passes which can save hours in queues.

Pack For All Types of Weather - Costa Rica has varied microclimates - It can be hot and sunny on the coast and cool and rainy in the mountains and rainforests. Lightweight layers, a rain jacket, and quick drying clothes are essential.

Travel During the Dry Season - If you prefer the sunshine, the best time to visit is typically December to April which is Costa Rica's dry season, especially for beach holidays. If you travel during the green season which is May to November it can be cheaper and less crowded, with lush landscapes and afternoon showers.

Japan

Where Tradition Meets Tomorrow.

Japan is a captivating blend of ancient traditions and cutting-edge modernity. From the neon lights of Tokyo to the tranquil temples of Kyoto, this extraordinary country offers a truly unique travel experience. Visitors are drawn in by it's rich culture, impeccable hospitality, stunning landscapes, and unforgettable food scene.

Explore centuries-old shrines, soak in natural hot springs, witness cherry blossoms in full bloom, or ride the world-famous bullet train through scenic countryside. Whether you're wandering through bustling city streets, hiking in the Japanese Alps, or discovering peaceful tea gardens, every corner of Japan tells a story.

Perfect for culture lovers, foodies, adventurers, and those seeking something different, Japan is a destination where every moment feels meaningful. With each season offering something new, it's a place you can return to time and time again - and always discover more.

Top Tips

Get a Japan Rail Pass - If you are planning on travelling between cities (like Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka), plan ahead and get this before you travel to Japan and the JR Pass can save you money, and it is valid on most bullet trains.

Respect Local Etiquette - Bowing is common, shoes should be removed in many traditional Inns and Temples, and talking loudly on public transport is considered rude. A little cultural awareness makes a big difference.

Learn a Few Key Phrases - English isn't spoken everywhere, so knowing simple phrases like Konnichiwa (Hello), Arigatou (Thank you), and Sumimasen (Excuse me), goes a long way and appreciated by locals.

Book Accommodation Early - Japan's most popular areas (like Kyoto during cherry blossom or autumn season) can sell out quickly. Book well in advance for the best choice of hotels, ryokans, or capsule stays.

Take Your Rubbish With You - Public bins are rare, so be prepared to carry your rubbish around until you find somewhere to dispose if it - this is why Japan stays so clean!

Embrace the Vending Machines & Public Transport - Japan is ultra efficient. Trains run on time to the second, and vending machines sell everything from hot drinks to hot meals. Don't be afraid to use them - they're part of the fun.

Maldives

Where Paradise is Perfected.

The Maldives is the ultimate tropical escape - a picture perfect paradise made up of over 1,000 coral islands scattered across the sparkling Indian Ocean. Famous for its white sandy beaches, turquoise lagoons, and luxury overwater villas, it's the ideal destination for romance, relaxation, and barefoot luxury.

Each resort sits on its own private island, offering complete tranquility and world-class service. Whether you are snorkelling with vibrant marine life, enjoying a candlelit dinner on the beach, or unwinding in a spa above the ocean, the Maldives promises unforgettable moments.

Perfect for Honeymooners, couples, divers, or anyone seeking a true escape from the everyday, the Maldives offers barefoot luxury at its best - where time slows down and every sunrise feels like a dream in this picture perfect paradise.

Top Tips

Choose the Right Island for You - Each resort is on its own private island, and they all offer different vibes - from ultra luxury to family friendly or adventure focused. Let your travel advisor help match you with your perfect island.

Consider All-Inclusive Packages - Food and drink can be expensive on remote islands, so an all-inclusive or full board package often offers better value - especially if you're enjoying cocktails, dining, and water activities.

Pack Light and Smart - You'll spend most of your time in swimwear, cover-ups and flip flops! Don't forget your reef-safe sunscreen, insect repellent, and a hat. Most resorts are barefoot friendly, even at dinner.

Best Time to Visit - November to April is the dry season in the Maldives, with the calmest weather and best visibility for snorkelling and diving. May to October is the wet (but still warm) season, and often comes with some amazing deals.

Bring Underwater Gear - While many resorts include snorkelling equipment, it's handy (and more hygienic) to bring your own mask/snorkel if you plan to spend a lot of time exploring the reefs.

Protect the Marine Life - The Maldives is home to some of the world's best snorkelling and diving. Always use reef-safe sunscreen, don't touch the coral, and avoid standing on the reefs - help keep the ocean thriving.

Bruge, Belgium

A Fairytale City of Cobblestones and Canals.

Top Tips

Wear Comfortable Shoes - Bruges is a city best explored on foot, with cobbled streets and hidden alleyways. Comfortable, sturdy shoes are a must for wandering the historic centre.

Take a Canal Boat Tour - Seeing Bruges from the water is a must! Short, guided boat trips offer a unique perspective of the medieval buildings and picturesque bridges.

Climb the Belfry of Bruges - For panoramic views over the rooftops and canals, climb the 366 steps of the Belfort in the main square - it's well worth the effort.

Try the Local Treats - Don't leave without sampling the Belgian waffles, handmade chocolates, frites (chips with mayo), and a local Brugse Zot beer. Bruges is a paradise for food lovers.

Visit in the Shoulder Season - Spring and the autumn offer fewer crowds, pleasant weather, and stunning scenery. Winter, especially around the Christmas markets, is also beautifully festive.

Explore Beyond the Main Square - While the Markt and Burg squares are beautiful, some of Bruges' best spots are just off the beaten path. Visit Begijnhof, the windmills, or quiet backstreets near the canals.
